This late 1940s to early 1950s Patek Philippe Ref.2429 boasts classic Calatrava styling, with raised gold indices, feuille style hands and a 6 o’clock small seconds subdial. Influenced by Bauhaus “form follows function”, its round case has elongated corners, flat bezel and sharp 90° transitions, delivering bold, clean lines for a refined dress watch character.
Its unique bug lug design represents mid century watchmaking, when lugs served as a showcase for artisans’ decorative creativity.

A highlight from the golden era of ornamental lugs, the 33 mm watch gains visually elongated proportions from its long stepped bug lugs and spacious small seconds dial.Fitted with manual wind Cal.10 200, a compact core movement widely used in Patek Philippe’s mid century Calatrava and small seconds dress watch collection.
