The cool tonality of the 18K white gold case extends seamlessly into the silvery metallic dial, forming a restrained and rational expression of high dress watchmaking from Vacheron Constantin.
The dial is devoid of numerals—time is conveyed entirely through markers and lines. A railway track minute scale defines the outer edge of the main dial, echoed by a similarly executed small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock, creating a sense of balance and continuity. The applied baton hour markers are sharply faceted and polished, while the dauphine hands, with their crisp edges, catch and reflect light with precision.
The cool metallic sheen, the sharp finishing of hands and indices, and the deliberate omission of numerals together give the watch a composed, almost austere character—quietly confident, yet with a subtle edge that reveals itself upon closer inspection.
At its heart is the Vacheron Constantin Cal. 4400/1, a manually wound movement frequently found in the Traditionnelle and Historiques collections. Measuring approximately 28.6mm in diameter, it is well-proportioned to the 38mm case. Through the sapphire caseback, the movement is fully revealed: bridges adorned with fine Geneva stripes, neatly beveled edges, and a clean, orderly architecture that speaks to both precision and refinement.
This movement has been fully serviced by Nicky Sir and is in excellent working condition. It is offered with a one-year in-house service warranty.
